What is customer care according to Barclays

Based on the current inability to even start a conversation I have to question what would be deemed effective customer care.

It seems Barclays is of the belief that opening all manner direct access channels for discussion is effective customer care, which would be the case if these channels such as Facebook and Twitter actually allowed customers to voice concerns and be channelled or directed if you will to a single point of contact. To be processed and find a solution, but this isn't the case. As it's always well if you want to make a complaint go here... Count up for yourself how many people, post and what the response is... so it's either a bot or someone who's so incapable to understanding customer concern they shouldn't be allowed near customers...!

This reality appears to be very different, if Barclays was a modern forward thinking company that actively wanted to solve issues and be the better business entiity for it. What happens in reality, leaves the customer even more disappointed, frustrated and disenchanted, with Barclays. Worse Barclays appears to be of the belief that progress and resolution can be found in a vaccum of social media. Perhaps this is all part of some cunning marketing plan to help us all be better people? Or is it an active plan to discourage anyone from opening a compliant, cos the outcome is the same They in the long term do nothing...

For 12 years I've endeavoured to find a solution. I made Barclays aware of the problem. As it was explained to me by others... and I'm now left confused by the great and modern way to further ignore the customer, the very person who firstly raised a concern, pointed out that somehting was missing. Perhaps a mistake or was it something else...? Is now being used by Barclays to claim they are the victim.

It stands to reason if nobody wants to answer, then doesn't it not sound like this is a simple choke hold..? Executed by Barclays to exsanguinate their critics? That's certainly how it feels from my side of the fence...! We've been frustrated at every turn, with what look to the untrained eye as lies, and now 12 years down the line.. with nothing to show for our efforts, while the Bank claims to have left the door open for negotiations.... and worse is of the belief that Barclays are doing all they can.... while in actuality they're efforts are geared to destroy by act of apethy and stealth anyone who'd dare claim that Barcalys is anything other than a bunch of charlants.

So we've been back to the #Ombudsman, after being ignored by #Barclays since the 23rd Jan 2025 this year which in my opinion needed to be be looked at. I should clarify for the last 10+ years we've h
