The Ombudsman cometh

So we've been back to the #Ombudsman, after being ignored by #Barclays since the 23rd Jan 2025 this year which in my opinion needed to be be looked at.

I should clarify for the last 10+ years we've had to write income and expenditure forms to #Barclays, while they do nothing

I should also explain that for the last 10+ years I've asked for a couple of things to be clarified

  1. How did we get the #mortgage?

  2. How was the #mortgage transferred between the different companies after all it didn't start with #Barclays our #loan/ #mortgage call it whatever you will was "sold lock stock and barrel" to someone else and after multiple ownership swaps ended up in #Barclays hands

  3. Why didn't my income protection kick in when I was nearly killed this policy was with #Barclays

  4. Why did #Barclays #Debank me in 2010, after I explained there was an issue with the #mortgage in my opinion in light of being audited post my near fatal accident in 2009

  5. Why hasn't anyone come forward to discuss any of the above?

Well I've had a response from the #ombudsman who claims to have been in contact with #Barclays. The #Ombudsman claims that #Barclays explained the following

  1. I've been in arrears and my latest income expenditure forms show we can't afford the mortgage, which to #Barclays suggests their actions are all within their #contract with me

Which raises an interesting set of new questions from me

A. My position hasn't changed since I was #DeBanked, #Barclays slammed the door in my face, removed my Bank accounts and effective broke the contract with me.

B. My income was massively affected, I was unable to get another bank account for well over a year, in which time #Barclays created a debt in my name. Worse when people paid me this money disappeared into the closed account at #Barclays and there is around 20K of my money which has disappeared

C. #Barclays to this day is unable to explain to me how and why I was #debanked

D. #Barclays answers feel like victim blaming to me, this according to them is all my fault. I on the other hand do not recall asking to have this done to me!

The #ombudsman went on #Barclays has been more than reasonable...

I might have said "Like FUCK..!" so we're 16 years down the line and I still can't write down in a simple sentence what Barclays claism to be fact.

#Barclays know I'm now disabled they know when I was made #disabled and #Barclays claims to take extra care when dealing with folks that are vulnerable and have been put through the mill. #PTSD #MentalHealth

From my perspective, I don't think I've been given anything. I now need to read the rest of #Barclays and the #Ombudsman reply but there's just more questions and zero answers

the fight goes on
