and just had another reply.... but still no answers... I'm so bored with people at Barclays apologising on behalf of others.... they need to change the record... Or be part of the solution....

below is the response which still fails to answer the question, I love the bit that says "the rest assured" I feel so much better... 10+ years. We've been at this and they need to "rest assured" that I'm not letting this go..! If people treated a dog in a way we've been treated the #RSPCA would have you locked up.... Barclays however can do what they like without anyone raising a finger and say excuse me but this does not appear to be proportional or fair....

copy of the email from a firm that can't use emails to communicate with their clients...... for security reasons.... go figure how's that working..?

Mr. Wackan

Thank you for your email to our Group CEO, C.S. Venkatakrishnan, on whose behalf I’m responding.

I’m really sorry you’ve had cause to contact us again as you’re unhappy with the response we provided. As such, I’ve arranged for your complaint to be reopened. Rest assured your concerns are being taken very seriously and have been passed to our dedicated Executive Complaints Team for investigation.

We will ensure a thorough review of the circumstances you outline is undertaken and will arrange for you to be contacted as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

Rachael
