Section 5 public order act 1986 being "doorstepped"

We've had this three times now, that Barclays would send people to "Doorstep" me I'm never too sure what the real purpose is. But it's a rather annoying moment, one time the chap sent by Barclays claimed. He was sent to negotiate, which was probably a lie. He claimed to work for Barclays probably a lie. Didn't have any Barclays ID, neither could he tell me the name of the last person I'd spoke to at Barlcays ...


So it's more an intimidation tactic softening up tool, "they" Barclays use it because they can, I think it's very important to know your rights. Section 5 public order suggests that if you feel intimidated, scared, coerced, threatended and concerned you have the right to report this abuse of process. Don't get shouty with these people gather evidence, tell them they are trespassing and that you'f going to call the police.... and if they leave then report it to the Police as a matter of course cos if it's written down then it happened.....


If the police refuse to act on this I think it's fair to make a complaint....
