Apparently I've made some really serious allegations, apparently telling bankers they are crooks really gets them bothered. I pointed out that firstly we needed establish who is doing it to whom.
After I confirmed the following
I explained what happened to me, it was Barclays who instigated the closure of business account. Which started the roller coaster of grief
I pointed out that if the business account was closed for no explainable reason. This business account was the only means I had to being paid, ALl of whcih the bank knkew, as my personal account was at the same branch. What was the possible outcome for the business and my ability to maintain payments such as a mortgage for example. The caller struggled so I duggested this was a predatory action on behalf of the bank. He didn't know how to answer that
My allegation of coercion and being forced into taking out a loan to cover the debt caused by the bank, seemed to be a thing he was fixated on... He claims the bank investigated this and found this to not have happened, so I was called a liar which was nice
I REALLY HATE BARCLAYS, I explained this in great detail and then again this person started to apologise on behalf of Barclays. This is the bit that totally tips me over the edge, They like to apologise, but don;'t want to take responsibility...
We then moved onto the Ombudsman's replies and cases, he informed me that once the Ombudsman finds in a case, they cant return to that. Which is a slightly different take from my last call.... I pointed out the Ombudsman found in MY FAVOUR on Harressment and wanted us to negotiate. Which to me sounded like an instruction. To Barclays but he tried to claim that unless the ombudsman directly addresses them they don;'t have to answer.... or do anything... Which I called bullshit.... I again explained that this is a simple predatory action, by Barclays against me, my family and they will do anything they can to hurt us... and in that process silence me.
That little call took about 1 hour, started as a call without direction but soon came back to if we have to involve solicitors all cost will be added to the total debt. If that isn't threatening what is..? I suppose they could send people to my house to intimidate me... but then I explained they'd already did that....
Finally I said can you send me an email, he claimed they can't do that, at which point I explained that Abdul Hassan was able to send me an email and he set up a meeting with Richard at th woking branch.... so the whole they can't send emails is BULLSHIT
and my final satement was simple " Barclays is doing it to us, I'm not doing this to them"!
my only action left is to publish and tell people how crap the service we've had, has been.... How much damage they've done to us and that they simply don't care.... about the carnage they've caused.... and I was more than happy to say all of this infront of a judge if that's what they want...
