Everybody negotiates, everybody communicates... Apart from Barclays UK... I'll publish the letter to their CEO later... but the upshot is that Barclays does not negotiate, the problem Barclays fails to provide me the information I've requested. SO the escalate the matter becomes an abuse of process... Barclays big claim is that they didn't sell the mortgage and so they are not to blame. However they bought the companies that sold, supplied, recommended and approved the product.

Which suggests if for an instance we believe the version of events, Barclays suggest then buying illegal or stolen property... is perfectley acceptable... and this from your trusted financial partner on the high street, online and in your life...

The simple facts are if a person enters into a contract, you should really prove that every element of the contract is legal, actionable and more importantly does not harm the other parties in the contract, Barclays "CLOSED" my account without warning, what did they expect to happen..? Barclays then refused to answer my questions, sent me on a wild goose chase to every other compnay they've bought over the years. All of whom have pointed the finger back at barclays... So 10+ years later when I suggest we should negotiate they claim, if I have a point to make I should take a legal action... bring a claim.... after they appear to have stolen all my money....!

This would be commonly referred to as using scale to intimidate your opponent, Barclays if I bring a claim would simply ignore me... use solicitors which they already have done to tie me up in knots and this would cost hundreds of thousands of pounds... Which the constant risk that if my claim looks in anyway unwinnable then they would counter claim and seek damages (HUGE DAMAGES).... and this is the issues they claim to be a partner there for clients but in reality it's just a bunch of chancers who would steal their grans false teeth if they think they could get away with it....

The Ombudsman cometh

So we've been back to the #Ombudsman, after being ignored by #Barclays since the 23rd Jan 2025 this year which in my opinion needed to be be looked at. I should clarify for the last 10+ years we've h
