Barclays senior leadership team meeting

It's not unreasonable to presume that, this could very well be the senior leadership team at Barclays having a formal meeting.. Based on the progress they've made to date. Tomorrow I'm posting the reply I've had from "The Treasury" and what they think of the Barclays actions todate.


As always I'm hoping for a letter to discuss the problem, but Barclays clings to the "they don't have to answer as an aswer..." They also cling to "we have rights", well if Barclays have rights then so do customers.. Comsumer rights and the fact that they are now outside of the FCA recommended practice... I suspect will make them claim that a recommendation isn't an instruction....


As they did when recommended to negotiate by the Ombudsman


UPDATE 17.00 wednesday 30th August 2023

I've just had a phone call from the Ombudsman who's trying to get to the bottom of what was sent by Barclays and why I can't access it.... They don't know what to do, but have said they'd contact Barclays again and see what is going on... they also said that if I made an offer to settle it's unusual to not have a counter offer. Or at least some form of a reply, they've asked me to forward them whatever Barclays sent so this morning i careful scanned a blank piece of paper and sent that back the Ombudsman let's see what they make of that...
