Barclays Bank Weaponises Silence

As per my recent Blog entry, it now appears that Barclays latest effort to not answer any questions centres around simply not saying anything. The FCA (financial conduct authority) findings in this matter supports much of how we've been treated.
There's the usual reply let's discuss the problem but first you need to make a payment into th debt, I as a sign of good faith make a payment for a debt I didn't cause. Once they have this Barclays refuses to discuss or the operator refuses to put me through to a team leader as promised to further discuss the matter.
It would appear this is a well trodden path, We;re had this treatment ever snce I brought the problem to the attention of Barclays some 12 years ago. Whoch raises the question why persue this matter for this period of time.
The answer is simple
I can't agree with their version of events, Barclays claim is that they didn't close the account. Yet the can't tell me what happened to it and why I can't access it and where the money went
The debt was created by Barclays, fully in the knowledge that it would impact my life, so it could be argued that this an action taken in full knowledge of the materials facts at hand by Barclays
When we finally got to discuss it in person at Weybridge, the Bank claimed the only way to proceed would be if I crystalised the debt into a personal loan. Barclays knew from having spoke to me that I had no job, no incoime and no bank account. Which raises the question how would I repay the loan?
Since then we've played a game of cat and mouse, they'd threaten me, I'd tell'em to give it a go if they think they could carry it off.
We've now been held to ransom in our own home for 10+ years, it makes me ask what Barclays plan is for us.
In legal terms what barclays is doing is waiting for me to provide everything I have on them, so their legal team can sketch together a defence, for the indefensible. They hope that some place in all is this a gap in my arguement that allows them to pull a saul goodman type of escaping justice.
