It's strange Barclays Bank Claims the following, "we don't do anything to harm to you!" but of course the reality is different.... they do evereything to bring harm 4 weeks ago I made a complaint that Barclays Bank was actively lying to credit agencies and this was adversely affecting my credit rating. To date they've not replied, it's a simple allegation, from my side. We're indispute for over around 600K, in my favour... yet as the bank can't produce the paperwork they get to write to credit agencies and claim I'm a bad risk....
If for example you got a bill for £100 pounds from a supplier and you pay the requested amount of £100 pounds. the account against that bill would stand at zero pounds. for over 1 year I've paid exactly what they worked out I should pay every month. So I was amazed to be told I've not paid the correct amount I borught this to their attention and again got the run around the houses, under a freedom of information request I asked for a breakdown of what is owed and what I should be paying, they are witholding this information.
Instead it's my fault for paying the wrong amount as indicated on their bill, I pointed theis out when I was finally given and interview with Richard from the Woking Branch. His reply was utterlyamazing he coulddn't confirm any payments I'd made, When I showed him my new bank statement clearly showing deposits to Barclays Bank he was at a loss for what to say. I've asked this to be added to my complaint, as it seem very odd form them to levy charges or render bills that have no way of being reconciled against an account.
I presume there are rules that Banks such as Barclays shouyld follow..? Codes of ethics, best practices...? Yet they don't have to answer or better still choose not to answer me. One bad credit notice takes on average 8 months to be removed from your credit report.... It's a war of attrition and seems to be a well trodden path for Barclays who use this to stop me from negotiating by claiming we're in a bad risk catagory... caused by them... and so can't escape their clutches.... Is it any wonder why folks think Bankers are Wankers...?
