The below is cut from the on going twitter exchange, and has to read bottom to top, The main points are
Barclays invites me to join twitter, as they claim it's part of the process for dispute resolution
I join twitter and nothing really happens
I get bored
point out nothing is happening..... which results in the usual we're looking into the issue (in plain english that means Barclays is doing nothing and waiting for the complainent to get bored)
I raise a few more issues... tell them the response from Barclays is now being timed. As they claim the service is 24/7 always open always ready to help
I explain I'm disabled in several ways the main I survived a serious brain injury. I'm also dyslexic and English is my second language. I apologise if some of my written stuff isn't that plain to read or understand, but say I do have a point and I do want answers.
the reply is silence....
until yesterday when a very nice police lady rang our doorbell and asked, if everything was ok? I had to ask why she'd been taken from her important work and who had sent her to our home? As I've never had police officers ever ask me how I am.
She said The Barclays social media team, had made some Allegations about you, Mr. Wackan and these are serious and we need to make sure you and family are ok...!
I know this is an unlikely story, but even this has moved it into the bizzare, Barclays bank appears to think thet dispute resolution involves them phoning the police.
After giving some background to the police officer, she was satisfied that this is a civil dispute, between Barclays bank and me
That Barclays bank would stop at nothing to avoid giving me the answers they've avoided for the last 10 years.
I reported Barclays Bank for false Allegations, which can now be added to the long list of crime committed by the bank.
I do really wonder what these people will do next...?
