FCA... fines Barclays 26 million it's old but still good

The meat and veg of this is pretty much what I've been trying to deal with. The ombudsman recommended negotiations after finding that Barclays hadn't been very nice to us. The problem if one one side is willing to negotiate, there can not be any negotiations, and all the while Barclays can heap misery upon misery. Which the planned legal action and claims that any costs involved will simply be added to the debt.


In my case which can't be unique as I've heard from others with similar issues, #Barclays #BeBanked me, they broke the very contract which they claim still exists between us.


It's very much a case of having your cake, eating it, then asking for someone else to pay for more cake, because your the bank that can ask for that.


rational and fair behaviour does not enter into negotiations cos it's clear they don't want to negotiate
